Doreen Cronin is the New York Times–bestselling author of Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type, a Caldecott Honor Book, as well as the Chicken Squad and Bug Diaries series. Doreen grew up in Merrick, New York, in a neighborhood full of kids and loved to spend time at the library. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University and St. John’s Law School. Doreen practiced law for a few years in downtown Manhattan before deciding to become a full-time writer. She lives in New York with her husband and their daughters. Visit her at doreencronin.com.

Betsy Lewin is the Caldecott Honor–winning illustrator of Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type and its sequels, including Click, Clack, Quack to School!, Click, Clack, Peep!, and Click, Clack, Boo! After graduating from the Pratt Institute, where she studied illustration, Betsy designed greeting cards. Then she began to write and illustrate stories for children’s magazines. When an editor at Dodd, Mead & Company asked her to expand one of those stories into a picture book, Betsy jumped at the chance and has been illustrating picture books ever since.
