Working Together to Survive a Night of Spooky Fun!

Oh no, Slappy the living dummy is out! But let’s keep calm, because whatever manner of spookiness is on the loose, the Book Boys will work together to make it through.
Give your class an upbeat brain break with Allister, Elliott, and Max as they perform their newest original song inspired by the seventh installment in one of the bestselling series of all time: Goosebumps: Night of the Living Dummy by R. L. Stine!
We’ve heard from teachers that brain breaks are an excellent way to help students refresh their focus and renew their energy between lessons. Plus a brain break only needs to be a few minutes long to be effective. Try it in your class to see how it works for you.
We Suggest:
1. Read aloud Goosebumps: Night of the Living Dummy—or assign it in chapters
2. Play the Book Boys Brain Break video for your class
3. After watching the video, ask students how they would work with one another to take down a scary dummy that was on the loose!
We love to hear from you! If you’re able, please share some of your students’ most creative responses to how they would stop a living dummy on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #ScholasticBookClubs.
