Classroom Activity Inspired by What if You Had Animal Ears!?

After reading What if You Had Animal Ears!? by Sandra Markle, illustrated by Howard McWilliam, we couldn’t help but feel like there was something missing on our heads. So we set out to create our very own animal-ear headbands!
Here’s what we came up with:
Join us in celebrating this fun informational text by creating your own animal-ear headbands with your students. We used textured paper (watercolor paper), felt, feathers, headbands, glue, hot-glue gun, a hot-glue-gun sticks, scissors, and markers—but you can let your imagination run wild!
