Jump Around with the Book Boys!
Song Inspired by I Don’t Want to Be a Frog
by Jamie Turak
There’s one thing the Book Boys all agree on—it’s important to be yourself!
To celebrate self-expression—and this week’s Dollar Deal, I Don’t Want to Be a Frog—the boys created their new, frog-inspired hip-hop song, “Jump Around.”
So hop to it and let your students jump along with the Book Boys in the video above. Want to sing along? Download the lyric sheet below!
And of course your class can move and rap too, so we hope you’ll be inspired to post a video or photos on social media, then tag us using #ScholasticBookClubs!
Meet the Book Boys: Jamie, Max, Allister, and Elliott!
These four guys, who work in different departments at Scholastic Book Clubs, formed a book group. Each week, they choose a new book to read together. Then they meet, discuss, and create fun and entertaining videos to help kids discover titles offered by Scholastic Book Clubs.
While the Book Boys come from diverse backgrounds and were definitely different growing up, they all have one thing in common: they really want to keep kids excited about books and reading.
